A superyacht is worth 6 times its market value after its production.

5000 yachts over 30 meters in lenght are estimated to be in circulation worldwide, around 50% of wich can be founf in the Mediterranean. Larger yachts are much more likely to be chartered than smaller ones. Crew spendig (travel, housing, food, miscellaneous expenses, etc.) on a global level is valued at 3.6 billion Euro.

5,000 yachts over 30 meters in lenghth, with 8 people per boat = 40,000 people on board worldwide

About 2,500 yachts over 30 meters are regulary in Mediterranean waters. About 1,000 of these yachts gravitate towards Italy, leading to around a billion euros of spending in the territory.
