The event aim is to start an exchange between two of the most important nautical districts in the world around the biggest challenge of the industry: sustainabiliy. The event will be attended by Shipyards and Nautical Companies. The event consists in 4 workshops, circular economy, emissions – and virtual B2B meetings, where suppliers will have the opportunity to meet directly the shipyards’ representatives.

Both Italy and the Netherlands have a big nautical history and today they have a crucial position in the international panorama, which places them at the top of super yacht industry – both in terms of yachts production per year, and value. Both countries have a wide range of companies active in yachting: from design to engineering, from shipyards to suppliers and service providers. The two Clusters have a lot to offer each other.

Since yachting clusters are really important to the super yacht industry, a collaboration between shipyards, supply and service companies is surely advantageous in the development of technological innovation and the research of sustainable and low environmental impact solution, respecting customer needs and being competitive in the market.

Tuscany has an international leadership with more than 500 companies, thanks to an important and dynamic economic sector led by large shipyards but also thanks to small artisan companies of the supply chain. Thanks to the management of RETE PENTA, the district has developed, over the years, innovation and research projects, training courses, nautical and networking events between European and Mediterranean districts.

Holland Yachting Group is part of the Netherlands Maritime Technology (NMT) a network with over 400 members including shipyards, suppliers of equipment and services and other sector companies.

Superyacht Clusters Matching is sponsored by Camera di Commercio di Lucca e Lucca Promos, Rotterdam Maritime Capital of Europe e Topsector Water & Maritem, and endorsed by Water Revolution Foundation.
