RE-START TOGETHER: NAVIGO AT WORK ON 16 PROJECTS AND 50 COMPANIES INVOLVED

 

MAPPING OF BUSINESS NEEDS FOR DEPARTURE AFTER COVID-19.

New propulsion and efficiency systems, research of new materials, development of integrated systems, digitization and control and security tools. Planning and innovation are the themes on which it is focused the attention of those yachting companies that are facing the restart phase after the closure imposed by the measures against Covid-19.

In these blocking months, NAVIGO – innovation and development center in the nautical sector – has started mapping the requests and needs of associated companies by continuing to provide support and advice from a distance. The result was the presentation of 16 projects with a request for funding (from those put in place by the Tuscany Region to the European Union) for over 30 million euros (with non-refundable value of around 10 million euros) and the involvement of 50 companies.

On the issues of port, there is the entry of new members in the Consorzio Marine della Toscana and the development of technical tools for boat management and digital tools for ports and marinas, such as booking the berth and online services and the safe charter.
